The Council have not upheld any of the complaints except 1 in part, submitted by Nick Evans
This is disappointing because when the Report to the Committee last July was reviewed, the SOS opinion was that it misrepresented the issues in favour of the applicants. The council’s letter of response does not change this point of view, however it does show that the council can mount a defence.
At the end, the Council’s letter says it “states their final position on the complaint” though of course there is the right to go to the Ombudsman. There is a good case to go to the Ombudsman and the Council deserve to be pushed all the way. However, in view of the other Save Stockbridge activties, this has to be a Committee decision.
